Snap Shot is a service that allows you to add the function of looking at the website you are linking to without actually going there. For example, the link to the Dysart School District has a small icon beside it so that you can get a peek at the site before you go to it.

This is a great tool for a teacher's website. It is one more way to support readers by giving them visual support. This can be especially important with web links, because they are often out of context.

Music teachers, I haven't forgotten about you! Sing Shot is an application that allows you to sing Karaoke while video recording it and posting it to the web. This is a great way for students to hear what they sound like... I'm not sure if that is a good thing or not!

Ustream is a platform that provides live interactive video for everyone. Anyone with a camera and an Internet connection can use Ustream to broadcast to a global audience.
Students can use ustream to broadcast right from their classroom to a world-wide audience. For example, students can use UStream to broadcast a daily, live news program to the community. The main drawback is bandwidth. If there is a lot of traffic on your network, the video can get choppy.
